Kind of anonymous, not distinguished in any evident way. The oak remains prominent, and there was a distracting green streak. Didn't taste past peak to me, but I have not had it before so cannot be sure.

Drinks wonderfully! Lots of fruit still with some acidity and well-integrated tannins to back it up. Dark fruit like dark plums and blackberries. Nice secondary notes too. I do not think this will improve, but still no hurry to drink all your stock.

Served with beef stew. Deep red, full bodied, supple aged red fruit, with delicious rich cherry, in nose and on palate. Undertones of wood, earth, herbs. A bit of chocolate and coffee as in previous notes. Moderate long. Tannin completely integrated, nicely balanced acid to complement the rich fruit. I'd say nose is even more expressive than last time. Last bottle of three, too bad seems to be going strong.

Very oaky, full body and vanilla taste. Well made but not my taste.
